In conjunction with the International Day of Older Persons 2025 Celebration, the Community Development Department, JAPEM, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports organised ''The Golden Amazing Race'' Competition. The event was held at the Brunei Energy Hub, Royal Wharf and around the Bandar Seri Begawan area.

The event was officiated by Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. 13 groups participated in the event, consisting of senior citizens, youth aged 18 to 35, and two individuals from various ages. The event was jointly organised by the Youth Development Centre, supported by the Language and Literature Bureau, Youth and Sports Department, Museums Department and the Brunei History Centre.
